Make Your Own Sketchbook, 7.26.26, 4:30 - 7:30 PM

In this hands-on sketchbook making workshop, students will design and create a custom sketchbook from start to finish. You’ll begin by selecting from a variety of papers—including handmade, watercolor, multimedia, and gray tone—to curate pages that best suit your artistic style and creative goals. We’ll then learn the coptic stitch binding method, a beautiful hand-sewn technique that leaves the spine exposed, allowing the book to lay flat while showcasing the craftsmanship of the binding itself. To make your sketchbook truly one of a kind, you’ll have access to our collection of collage materials to decorate and personalize your covers. By the end of class, you’ll leave with a fully functional, handmade sketchbook that reflects your creativity inside and out.
