What Will You Do In This Workshop?
You will learn the art of adding texture and magic to a memory with photo embroidery!
- During class you’ll learn and practice basic embroidery skills, build a color palette to compliment your photo, and Tina will share tips and tricks for embroidering on paper.
- Once ready you can choose from Tina’s collection of patterns or go rogue and create your own!
- Once finished you'll have a mounted 8x10 piece ready for a frame!
Selecting Your Photo
- Upon sign up you'll receive an email prompting you to send us a photo that we will print for you on the correct paper. There will also be some fun photos available to use in class if you don't have one of your own in mind.
- Black and white photos are recommended BUT don’t let that stop you from using a color photo.
Meet Tina Crespo
Tina is a fine artist + brand photographer, coffee enthusiast, and admirer of all moments (quiet or stormy) that Nature has to offer. She lives and works in the suburbs of Philadelphia, and spends her time on long hikes with her Husband and their dog Icy Boy.
Growing up, Tina spent her Summers by the ocean which has created a lifelong love affair with all things water. From a very young age, Tina was curious about the natural world and the wondrous colors it can create.
These quiet memories of water, nature, and color have become a foundation in Tina’s abstract color studies + landscapes paintings.
Tina’s work has been featured in Urban Outfitters, Elle Decor UK, NY’s Mag’s TheCut.com, Apartment Therapy, SFGirlByBay, Creature Comforts, and Philly.com.
