Travel Journaling With Sarah Danforth, 11.12.26, 7:00 - 9:00 PM

Learn the basic principles of design and turn your travel memories (ticket stubs, photos, and other mementos) into a beautifully laid-out journal spread. We'll start with a quick design overview, sketch a mockup, share layouts with the group (the visuals only; your stories stay private if you'd like), then dive into work time on your actual spread, wrapping up with a mini-lesson on making your own stickers with simple, no-machine supplies. 

Not a big traveler? In addition to examples of my own travel journals, I’ll be sharing my book, personal, hockey, and food journals as well as inspiration. Just bring a journal (blank or already started), or plan to get one at Silly Little when you arrive. All other supplies are provided, including a full sticker collection and a wide range of pens, markers, and highlighters. Bring any photos or ephemera you'd like to include, but even if you show up without any supplies, you’ll still be able to participate (a journal can just be a collection of loose paper)! You'll leave with at least one complete two-page spread, though feel free to work at your own pace and do more!
